IDENTIFICATION:
We require that all customers bring appropriate I.D., to be photocopied,
any time a procedure is performed. All clients must be 18 years
of age or older, or an accompanied by a parent with a notarized
consent form.
Acceptable I.D.’s include: Driver’s
Licence
Passport
Military I.D.
State issued photo I.D. card
Birth Certificate w/ school photo I.D. or word I.D.
MINORS/PARENTAL CONSENT:
A minor is delegated by the state of Florida as anyone under the
age of 18. In order to pierce or tattoo a minor, we require that
the parent or guardian have our consent form notarized, prior to
any procedure. This form needs to be filled out both by the minor
and parent/guardian. We also require that both parties (the client
and the parent/guardian) possess photo I.D.’s to be copied.
Only the parents or the minor’s legal guardian can sign for
them. If the minor and guardian have different addresses or last
names, additional documentation of their guardianship may be required.
Minor age varies on piercing's, and by the individual piercers.
Any piercer may refuse to do a piercing on a client, no matter how
old. We do pierce children’s earlobes, as young as babies.
We prefer they have their piercing done in a sterile environment,
rather than the mall, where they “pierce” with non-sterile
guns. Ear piercing's such as lobes and cartilage can be done on
minors as young as 12.
We do not perform facial (eyebrow, tongue,
nose, lip, etc.) piercing's on anyone under the age of 16.
Navel piercing's vary individually. The youngest age we would pierce
a navel is 14. Navel piercing's are best performed on a fully developed
anatomy. At a young age, the client is still growing, and their
navel may be higher in 2 - 3 years. This could possibly result in
a rejected piercing, leaving the client permanently scarred. It’s
best to stop by one our shops and have a piercer look at your navel
and give you a consultation.
The age that we will tattoo a minor
varies by the tattoo artist and the design to be tattooed. We will
NOT tattoo anyone under the age of 16.
